Come paint a mural with us for Union Station this Sunday. The theme is DC as our playground, a place where we love to live, work and play. The leading artist of this workshop will be Kevin “Jazi” Irvin. Everyone is encouraged to come and contribute to this massive collage.

Sunday, May 23 from 2pm to 4pm at The Freezer, 633 E Street SE (rear alley). We will be painting on primed paper using variety of media. Wear working clothes. Recommended donation but noone is turned away. All supplies provided.

Edgewood Arts Market
There is a new art market sprouting in the Edgewood Neighborhood in Northeast DC. It is the home to our “From Edgewood to the Edge of the World” mural. The neighborhood is changing daily. When you walk down my street, you see that residents are planting more flowers, fixing up their porches, new folks and businesses moving into empty houses. And now with the new trail that connects the place with the rest of the city for the bikers and pedestrians, more and more people visit the neighborhood from the surrounding areas. On June 5th, there will be an official trail opening event, so there will be a lot of people in the area. Take advantage of it to market your artwork!
