Greetings! Knox here from Day in the Lyfe the movie. I thought I’d share a little bit about the Conscious Cycle project. Since, 2007 myself, Sinton Vignos, and Kate Friedman have hosted the Conscious Cycle Paint Jam. Over the years an amazing number of artists have participated in this event including Space 11:34 , Robots Will Kill, Royce Bannon, Gore B, Elbow Toe, Faro, Anthrax, Noh J Coley, Tetris, Col, and many many more.

The project was created to raise reuseable goods awareness. A great deal of resources are routinely wasted in this world especially in our cities. Each time we create a Conscious Cycle wall, we dumpster dive all the wood. Turning trash into art. The whole process is an exercise in community building. Painters all work on one wall, which by the end of the cycle has been covered in many layers of paint. All of the work is filmed and the timelapse videos of the project represent a growing history of our efforts.
